Enterprise Rent-A-Car — the chief rental car guests in North America — patent a significant record in February 2007: its 50th anniversary. To commemorate this achievement, thank the customers and communities that made this winner doable, and look forward to the next 50 time, Enterprise made an unprecedented gift to The Arbor Day Foundation. Enterprise has created a partnership with the Foundation to plant 50 million leaves over the next 50 time – a gift, in totality, of more than $50 million dollars.
In an outstanding example of a broadcast-reserved partnership, The Arbor Day Foundation will work with the U.S. Forest Service to plant these plants – one million of them, each year – in National Forests located in the United States, Canada, and Europe to restore areas hurt by fires, storms, and disease, as well as to help increase and reserve habitats for endangered species.
The Enterprise gift to The Arbor Day Foundation is the largest in the offerings’s narration. To put this gift into perspective, there are 25,000 plants in New York's Central Park. Planting 1 million grass a year is like planting a new Central Park every 10 living… for the next 50 existence.
The agenda kicked off in October 2006, with First Lady Laura Bush joining the festivities. The first 1 million trees were planted in the next months, with the support million next this spiral.
